We promote management and legal compliance to transform the social reality in Puerto Rico
Stella Marie Moreira Rabelo is our executive director and project consultant. As part of her academic preparation, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and forensic practice at the Biopsychosocial Center of the Puerto Rico Medical Center, attending support groups for minors who are victims of domestic violence. She was a research assistant for the Ether Project, which focused on serodiscordant couples, where one partner is living with HIV and the other is not. Her interviews contributed to the article “The Role of Social Support on Health-Related Practices of HIV-Discordant Heterosexual Couples,” published in the Revista Puertorriqueña de Psicología, Vol. 24, No. 2, 2013.
She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. During her studies, she participated in the Puerto Rico Department of Labor and Human Resources clinic, as well as in the litigation team, and in the private criminal practice clinic. She worked as a teacher’s assistant at summer camps run by the Department of Education in the Municipality of Loíza. After graduating, she interned at the Federal Public Defender’s Office, where she assisted with post-sentencing sentence reduction petitions. She delved deeply into litigation and appellate practice through the Merlin Law Group, representing policyholders affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. At the beginning of the pandemic, she joined the Small Business Administration (SBA) as an attorney. In recent years, she has made a significant contribution through MR Consulting Group, supporting various organizations and strengthening its focus on compliance and community service.
On a personal level, her greatest life project is her daughter, Mila Ariana Isabel, and her husband. All her efforts are directed toward the legacy of our next generations and providing direct and efficient services to the most needy populations in Puerto Rico.

Tansha Enid Tirado Rosas is our case manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Ana G. Méndez University and has more than 20 years of experience in the administrative and paralegal fields. Her contributions include providing support in systems management and the group’s daily operations. With her solid track record, she ensures that all processes are handled with maximum efficiency and confidentiality. Her charisma and empathy greatly contribute to our internal procedures, making her a fundamental pillar of our organization.
Dr. Gabriela R. Acevedo-Iguina is a clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She holds an M.S. and B.A. in Psychology from the same institution, where she graduated with the highest academic distinctions. Her clinical training has spanned diverse settings, including community mental health centers, private practices, school-based consultation, and specialized judicial contexts.
She has provided psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, grief, and relational difficulties. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), client-centered therapy, and trauma-informed interventions. Dra. Acevedo-Iguina has conducted psychological evaluations for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning using a comprehensive array of psychometric instruments.
Her professional experience includes service in the Sala Especializada de Violencia Doméstica en el Tribunal de Bayamón, where she provided crisis intervention, consultation, and psychological services to individuals affected by intimate partner violence and legal-system involvement. She also served as a consultant for the Partners in School initiative, offering psychoeducational support to preschool educators and families.
In the area of research, Dr. Acevedo-Iguina has worked with Massachusetts General Hospital’s Disparities Research Unit and led independent studies focused on mental health literacy, treatment adherence, and aging populations. She recently defended her doctoral dissertation on the validation of the ASK-20 Scale in Puerto Rican adults receiving psychopharmacological treatment, which she will present at the International Congress of Psychiatry and Addiction in Vienna in 2025.
Dr. Acevedo-Iguina combines clinical expertise, research skills, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to social justice to develop and implement accessible, culturally responsive mental health interventions and materials.
